How to build up your local page.

Okay, so you found out that your until-now-forgotten town has its very own operating page. That's really cool, but there's nothing on it.

An empty ad site is as useful as a Ferrari with no gas. Great to look at but worthless otherwise, right?

So, how do we make YOUR local site a powerful local marketing, advertising and connection tool for you? Uh... we don't. In fact, we can't, really. It's too large a task for us to handle and that's why we left it for you each of you to take and build up for yourselves. So, how do you get your local page pumped up and used? Here are some very easy steps that you can take to hasten the process.

NOTE: We've got years planned to wait for to grow. The entire concept was to simply build up a great interconnected network of autonomous totally free ad sites and see if the world would see their value and grow them one at a time, one town at a time until the entire network was thriving. We built the fence and plowed the field, now lets see what grows in it, for lack of a better analogy.

Want your local site to grow so that YOU can benefit from it? Here are some VERY easy steps.

1. Tell your friends and neighbors about this new site that is sitting empty waiting for your town to grab on and fill it up. Don't over blow it... we don't want anyone putting false hope in this idea. It's only going to be as good as those who live there make it. It's a lot like the Internet itself. Pretty empty to start with, but now... well.. you get the idea.

Word of mouth from friend to friend is still the most unbeatable way to promote anything that there has ever been. What's in it for you? How about a really great local site to connect, buy and sell in down the road? What more motivation can we give you?

2. Twitter us. Once in while, just put... new local free ad site for (your towns name here) It's simple and effective. If you are twittering to local friends and contacts, the word will start to grow.

3. Facebook. Same thing. If you really want your local page to start growing, just mention us once a week on your page... Hey, if you haven't seen our local page, go check it out at

4. Share your city page with our share button. Just go to our site and click on any local ad within your city, then click the 'Share this' button to the top right of each ad... you'll soon be spreading the news and hopefully letting others know who have been searching for such a site.

5. Email your buddies about it.... Sure, why not. No reason to go gushing on and on about it, but if you liked this site, won't your friends like it too? We won't know until they find out.

Oh! and one more REALLY easy way of spreading the word... why not copy this pages URL and paste it into an email to four of your friends right now as well as onto your twitter page and facebook page.. do that about five times this month and you'll start to see things happen really quickly.

The bottom line here is that if you keep your local page a secret, it will be as worthless as 'teets on a boar' as my Dad used to say. It won't be a truly useful tool for you until everybody knows about it, so please... tell somebody! Today!

Thanks for the ads
